Kuwait is set to see a slight increase in pesticide consumption over the next five years, rising 0.3% annually on average. In 2021, the country was ranked 135th in the world with 32 metric tons of pesticide consumption. This figure was surpassed by New Caledonia, who had 32.5 metric tons. The US, Brazil, and Argentina came in second, third, and fourth, respectively. Since 2011, Kuwaiti demand for pesticides has declined by 7.7% year-on-year. In 2018, the country was ranked 27th, with Slovenia ahead of them at 13.57 metric tons. Thailand, Germany, and Taiwan came in second, third, and fourth, respectively.
