Meanwhile, Greek pork consumption is forecast to rise slightly to 308,000 metric tons in 2026, up 0.1% from 306,000 metric tons in 2021. This steady growth has been maintained since 2017, when the country was ranked 33rd in the world. Belgium overtook Greece with 306,000 metric tons, while the US, Russia, and Vietnam took the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th spots, respectively.
