In 2021, Chile ranked 48th among pineapple-consuming countries with 48 thousand metric tons. It was outranked by South Africa. Brazil, India and the U.S. came in second, third and fourth places, respectively. From 2017 to 2021, Chilean demand for pineapple increased by 0.7% annually.
