Angolan pineapple consumption is forecast to reach 540,000 metric tons by 2026, a slight drop from 547,000 metric tons in 2021. This represents a decrease of 0.1% year on year, continuing the downward trend since 2017. Vietnam topped the list at 547,000 metric tons, followed by Brazil, India and the United States. On the other hand, Angolan pineapple production is predicted to reach 1.16 million metric tons by 2026, up from 948,460 in 2021. This will be a 3.4% year on year increase, with growth seen since 1966 at 7.7% year on year. Colombia was the top producer in 2021, followed by the Philippines, Brazil and China.
