Gabon's pineapple production is set to grow by 1.7% a year on average between 2021 and 2026, from 1,500 metric tons to 1,660 metric tons. This is an increase of 2.9% since 1991. In 2021, Gabon was the 66th largest producer of pineapples, behind Swaziland at 1,500 metric tons. The Philippines, Brazil and China took the top three spots. Gabon's pineapple consumption rose from 1,000 metric tons in 2017 to 1,000 metric tons in 2018.
