Maldivian pineapple consumption is set to remain unchanged with 3,000 metric tons in 2026, according to estimates. Since 2017, demand shows no change. In 2021, the country ranked 101 in pineapple consumption, with Oman leading the way at 3,000 metric tons. Brazil, India and the United States followed, coming in at numbers 2, 3 and 4 respectively.
