This is a 6.6% year-on-year increase since 2017. Fiji is the leader in pineapple production, producing 6,870 metric tons in 2021. The Philippines, Brazil and China follow, respectively ranking second, third and fourth in the world. By 2026, South Sudan is forecast to produce 8,050 metric tons of pineapple annually, representing a 2.7% year-on-year growth rate.
