Puerto Rico's pineapple production declined 16.7% this year, dropping to about 2,350 metric tons from 2,820 in 2020. Since 1966, the country's supply has decreased by almost 19% year-over-year. Trinidad and Tobago produced the most pineapple in 2021, with 2,350 metric tons. The Philippines, Brazil and China ranked second, third and fourth, respectively.
