Production of cassava in Micronesia is set to decrease from 8,130 metric tons in 2021 to around 7,400 metric tons by 2026. This is a 1.6% drop year-on-year from the 2000 figure, when production was 2.1% higher. In 2021, Micronesia was the 70th largest producer of cassava in the world, with Suriname overtaking it in production. The Democratic Republic of Congo, Thailand and Ghana were the top 3 producers, respectively.
