Argentina is set to consume 84,000 metric tons of cassava in 2026, a 0.3% yearly growth from the 83,000 metric tons of cassava consumed in 2021. Since 2017, the country has seen an annual growth rate of 0.4%. Argentina is ranked 44th in the world for cassava consumption, with Bolivia taking the lead at 83,000 metric tons. Indonesia, Ghana and Mozambique followed, taking the next three spots. Argentina is also set to produce 204,000 metric tons of cassava by 2026, growing at a yearly rate of 0.5% since 1966. The country ranks 46th in the world in cassava production, with Nicaragua taking the lead at 198,260 metric tons. The Democratic Republic of the Congo, Thailand and Ghana took the next three spots.
