Chilean consumption of cassava is projected to grow 4.2% annually, from 2,000 metric tons in 2021 to 2,700 metric tons by 2026. In 2021, Chile ranked 67th in the world in terms of cassava consumption, with Guyana overtaking Chile with 2,000 metric tons. Indonesia, Ghana, and Mozambique were the world’s top three cassava-consuming countries, respectively. Chilean demand for cassava has remained unchanged since 2018.
