Taiwan's cassava production is forecast to drop by 5.6% per year, on average, over the next five years. This follows a 7.9% decrease in output since 1966. In 2021, the country was 68th in the world rankings, with 7,010 metric tons. Gambia was the top producer with 9,800 metric tons, followed by the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Thailand and Ghana.
