Antiguan cassava production is on the rise, set to reach almost 200 metric tons by 2026. Last year, it was 168 metric tons, a 2.1% increase from the year before. Since 1966, the production has grown by 3.6% each year. In 2021, it ranked 91st in the world, behind the Bahamas which had the highest production at 168 metric tons. The Democratic Republic of the Congo, Thailand and Ghana followed in the rankings.
