Production is projected to reach 1,380 metric tons by 2026, a growth of 0.9% per year on average since 1966. Congo, Thailand, and Ghana are the second, third and fourth highest producers, respectively. In 2018, Dominican Republic consumed 1,000 metric tons of cassava, up from 1,000 metric tons the previous year.
