Saint Lucia's cassava production is set to reach 1,610 metric tons by 2026. This is an increase of 1.2% year on year on average since 1966. In 2021, Saint Lucia came in 79th place, with 1,500 metric tons. This was overtaken by Trinidad and Tobago who had 1,500 metric tons. The Democratic Republic of the Congo, Thailand and Ghana respectively came in second, third and fourth. In 2018, Saint Lucia's cassava consumption rose to 1,000 metric tons, up from 1,000 metric tons the year before.
