This puts the country in 54th position, behind Bangladesh with 24,000 metric tons. Indonesia, Ghana and Mozambique were ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. Meanwhile, cassava production in Mexico is expected to reach 31,500 metric tons by 2026, increasing an average of 2% each year since 2021. This places Mexico in 61st position, with El Salvador slightly ahead at 27,930 metric tons. The Democratic Republic of the Congo, Thailand and Ghana were ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
