Cameroonian consumption of cassava is projected to reach 2.55 million metric tons by 2026, a 0.5% yearly growth since 2017. In 2021, the country was ranked 12th, with 2.48 million metric tons, slightly behind Uganda. Indonesia, Ghana and Mozambique were the top three. Meanwhile, Cameroon's cassava production is expected to reach 7.37 million metric tons by 2026, with a 2.3% average yearly growth since 1966. The country came in 13th in 2021, with 6.41 million metric tons. Tanzania was ahead, with the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Thailand and Ghana taking the top three spots.
