Chadian Cassava Consumption is set to reach 318,000 metric tons by 2026, up from 279,000 metric tons in 2021 – a 2.2% year-on-year growth. Since 2017, Chadian demand for the staple has risen by 3.9% each year, putting the country in 35th place in 2021, narrowly behind Haiti. Indonesia, Ghana and Mozambique took the top three spots. Chadian Cassava Production is expected to reach 309,940 metric tons by 2026, an increase of 0.5% year-on-year. Since 1966, Chadian supply has decreased by 9.4% each year, making it the 42nd biggest producer in 2021, behind Gabon. The Democratic Republic of the Congo, Thailand and Ghana came in second, third and fourth place respectively.
