Canada was the top consumer in 2021 with 4,000 metric tons, followed by Indonesia, Ghana, and Mozambique. Cabo Verdean cassava production is expected to fall slightly to 4,880 metric tons by 2026. This is a decrease of 2.8% since 1966. Tonga was the largest producer in 2021 with 4,910 metric tons, followed by the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Thailand, and Ghana.
