Gambian consumption of cassava is set to remain stable, reaching 12 thousand metric tons by 2026. This figure was the same in 2021, with Costa Rica overtaking Gambia for the top spot at 12 thousand metric tons. Indonesia, Ghana, and Mozambique respectively ranked second, third and fourth. Gambian production of cassava is set to reach 15,010 metric tons by 2026, growing at an average rate of 1.6% year-on-year since 1966. In 2021, Gambia ranked 67th, with Panama overtaking them at 13,680 metric tons. The Democratic Republic of the Congo, Thailand and Ghana respectively ranked second, third and fourth.
