Meanwhile, cassava production in Liberia is expected to reach nearly 594,000 metric tons by 2026, with a 0.5% average annual growth rate. This is despite a 3.8% year-on-year decrease since 1966, when Liberia was 37th in the rankings. South Sudan, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Thailand and Ghana took the top four spots, respectively.
