Sweden was the largest consumer of alcoholic beverages in 2021, with 37,000 metric tons. India, Japan, and Russia held the 2nd, 3rd and 4th positions, respectively. Kenyan exports of alcoholic beverages fell to $51 million in 2018 from $52 million in 2017 - a 1.1% decrease compared to the previous year. Since 1997, exports had decreased 11.2% year on year.
