Mozambique is projected to import 2,080 kilograms of cocoa by 2026, an annual increase of 1.5% from the 1,900 kilograms imported in 2021. This is in stark contrast to the 20.9% decrease in demand seen since 2007. The country fell to 73rd place in the 2021 ranking, overtaken by Kuwait at 1,900 kilograms. The United States, Malaysia and Germany followed in positions 2, 3 and 4 respectively.
