Italian cocoa imports are set to reach 111 million kilograms by 2026. This marks a 1.1 percent increase year-on-year. Since 1999, Italian demand for cocoa has grown by 2.1 percent annually. In 2021, Italy was the ninth biggest cocoa importer in the world. Spain took the lead with 103.85 million kilograms. The US, Malaysia and Germany followed in second, third and fourth place, respectively.
