Grenadian cocoa production is on the rise. According to data compiled since 1966, it has grown an average of 1.5% every year. In 2021, it reached 949 metric tons, making Grenada the 36th largest cocoa producer in the world. Malaysia overtook them, with 959 metric tons. Ghana, Indonesia, and Nigeria followed in second, third, and fourth place respectively. By 2026, Grenadian cocoa production is predicted to reach 1,030 metric tons.
