Panama is set to produce 1,200 metric tons of cocoa by 2026, up from 1,040 metric tons in 2021, according to a 2.3% year-on-year growth rate. This would represent a 9.3% increase since 1966. The country came in 34th place in 2021, overtaken by Dominica's 1,040 metric tons. Ghana, Indonesia and Nigeria were ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
