Cocoa production is on the rise. Projections show it will reach nearly 5,000 metric tons by 2026, up from 4,410 metric tons in 2021. That's an average year-on-year growth rate of 2.1%. This trend is nothing new; since 1966, cocoa production has grown at a rate of 3% per year. Ghana, Indonesia and Nigeria are among the biggest producers, in that order.
