Cameroon is set to reach 300,000 metric tons of cocoa production by 2026, up 1.2% year-on-year on average. From 1966 to 2021, production has grown by an average of 5.8% annually. In 2021, Cameroon ranked sixth, with Ecuador overtaking it at 279,810 metric tons. Ghana, Indonesia, and Nigeria ranked second, third, and fourth respectively. Since 2006, however, demand for Cameroonian cocoa has decreased by 14.4% year-on-year.
