Chile is set to experience significant growth in its insulin exports and imports over the next five years. Export amounts are forecast to rise from 2,920 kilograms in 2021 to 3,920 kilograms by 2026, an average increase of 5.1% year-on-year. Since 2016, exports have grown by 18.8%. Chile ranked 36th in 2021, behind Singapore which exported 2,920 kilograms. India, Italy and Germany ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. Imports are expected to grow from 247,590 kilograms in 2021 to 301,230 kilograms by 2026, a year-on-year average increase of 3.5%. Since 1996, demand has risen by 2.5%. Chile ranked 32nd in 2021, behind Nigeria, which imported 247,590 kilograms. France, Germany and the United Kingdom occupied the next three spots.
