Costa Rica's insulin imports are forecast to increase by 3.9% year on year on average over the next five years, reaching 111,380 kilograms in 2026. Since 1999, demand has increased by an average of 5.4% annually. At present, the country ranks 52nd worldwide in terms of insulin imports. Tunisia is ahead in the rankings with 88,690 kilograms, followed by France, Germany and the UK in 2nd, 3rd and 4th place respectively. Since 2013, Costa Rican supply has decreased by 68.1% year on year.
