Austrian insulin exports, however, decreased 57.8% in 2018 to 2,270 kilograms, down from 5,370 kilograms the year prior. Since 1999, the country's supply has risen 24.5% annually. In 2018, Austria ranked 38th in the world, while Morocco was the highest exporter with 2,270 kilograms. India, Italy, and Germany followed respectively as the second, third, and fourth biggest suppliers.
