Argentina's ethylene exports are set to drop by 0.5% a year on average, reaching 16.9 million kilograms by 2026. This is a marked decrease from the 17.1 million kilograms exported in 2021 and a 23.8% drop since 1998. In 2021, Finland had the highest export rate of 17.1 million kilograms, followed by South Korea, the United Kingdom and Japan. Meanwhile, imports of ethylene decreased by 15.3% from 18.4 million kilograms in 2017 to 15.6 million kilograms in 2018. This is a 76.7% decrease since 1998. In 2018, Zambia was the highest importer at 15.6 million kilograms, followed by China, Indonesia and Germany.
