This is down from 742,900,000 kilograms in 2021, when the UK was the third largest exporter in the world. This marks a 2.4% decline since 1998. In 2021, South Korea overtook the UK as the second biggest exporter with 742,900,000 kilograms. South Korea, the UK and Japan were the second, third and fourth largest exporters respectively. UK Ethylene import decreased by 25.9% between 2015 and 2016, from 4,418,400 kilograms to 3,286,000 kilograms.
