Korean ethylene imports are projected to drop 2.3% a year, on average, over the next five years, reaching 103 million kilograms in 2026. In 2021, the country was ranked ninth with 116 million kilograms, lagging behind Sweden, which was in first place with the same amount. China, Indonesia and Germany came in second, third and fourth respectively. Meanwhile, Korean ethylene exports are expected to rise 1.3% annually on average, reaching 905 million kilograms by 2026. In 2021, South Korea was the second largest supplier, with 828 million kilograms, just behind the Netherlands with the same amount. The United Kingdom, Japan and South Korea came in second, third and fourth respectively.
