Thai Ethylene imports are forecast to plunge 25.5% a year to just under 4.9 million kilograms in 2026. This follows a 23.8% year-on-year decrease since 1993. In 2021, Thailand ranked 20th, with Morocco in first place at 24.1 million kilograms. China, Indonesia and Germany were the next three biggest importers. Thai Ethylene exports, meanwhile, are projected to increase 3.8% a year to over 275 million kilograms by 2026. Since 1999, this has seen a 58.1% year-on-year increase. Last year, the US was the top exporter at 216.4 million kilograms, followed by South Korea, the UK and Japan.
