Bolivia's butter production is set to reach almost 1,900 metric tons by 2026. It has increased by 3% a year on average since 1966. The country was 79th in 2021, with Zambia overtaking it at 1,640 metric tons. New Zealand, Germany and France followed, coming in second, third and fourth respectively. Consumption of butter in Bolivia was 1,000 metric tons in 2018, up from the year before.
