Chilean butter consumption is projected to reach 36,000 metric tons by 2026. This is an increase of 1.2% from the 33,000 metric tons in 2021. Since 2017, demand for butter in the country has remained unchanged. In 2021, Belarus had a higher consumption than Chile at 33,000 metric tons. Germany, France, and Russia came in second, third, and fourth place respectively. Chilean butter production is expected to reach 28,200 metric tons by 2026. This is a 1.5% increase from the 25,760 metric tons in 2021. Since 1966, supply of butter in the country has grown by 2.5% year on year. In 2021, Tanzania had a higher production than Chile at 25,760 metric tons. New Zealand, Germany, and France came in second, third, and fourth place respectively.
