Togolese butter consumption is set to remain at zero thousand metric tons in 2021. This is the same level as 2020, when consumption was also zero thousand metric tons. Since 1997, consumption has remained stable, with no significant year-on-year change. In 2021, Togo was ranked 104th in terms of butter consumption, with El Salvador overtaking at 134 metric tons. New Zealand, Germany and France ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th, respectively. Togo's butter production is projected to reach 161.2 metric tons by 2026, rising at an average annual rate of 3.1% since 2021, when it stood at 134 metric tons. Year-on-year production has grown by 5% since 1997.
