The country is now ranked 90th in the world for butter consumption, overtaken by Greece at 717 metric tons. New Zealand, Germany and France are respectively ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Butter production in Chad is projected to reach 802 metric tons by 2026, growing at an average rate of 1.9% year on year. Since 1966, the country's supply has increased by 7.4% annually.
