Pakistan's butter consumption is set to reach 2,300 metric tons by 2026, according to a report. This is an increase of 1.8% year-on-year from the 2,000 metric tons recorded in 2021. Since 2017, Pakistani demand remained stable, placing the country 88th in 2021. Mauritius topped the list with 2,000 metric tons, followed by Germany, France and Russia at numbers 2, 3 and 4. Meanwhile, Pakistani production is forecast to reach 1,730 metric tons by 2026, growing an average of 2.5% year-on-year from the 1,490 metric tons in 2021. Since 2013, supply was up 3% year-on-year. Ethiopia topped the list with 1,490 metric tons, with New Zealand, Germany and France at numbers 2, 3 and 4.
