Kyrgyz wheat production is expected to decline to 496,870 metric tons by 2026, a 2.3% decrease from 569,030 metric tons in 2021. Since 1997, wheat production in Kyrgyzstan has decreased by 3% each year. In 2021, the country came in 58th in wheat production, while Uruguay overtook with 569,030 metric tons. India, Russia and the United States were respectively ranked second, third and fourth in this ranking.
