Senegalese wheat consumption is set to increase by 1.1% year on year between 2021 and 2026. This follows a 1% annual increase in demand since 2017. In 2021, the country ranked 70th in terms of wheat consumption, with 696,000 metric tons. Mozambique overtook Senegal to become the 69th biggest consumer of wheat. India, the United States and Pakistan ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
