Cuba's wheat consumption is expected to decline slightly in the coming years. This year, the country is expected to consume 589 thousand metric tons of wheat, a 0.4% decrease from 2021. Since 2017, demand has risen 1.1% year on year. In 2021, Cuba was the 78th largest wheat consumer in the world, just behind Cameroon, which consumed 605 thousand metric tons. The top three consumers were India, the United States, and Pakistan.
