Wheat consumption is on the rise, with an estimated 332,500 metric tons expected to be consumed by 2026. This is a 2% annual increase from 2021, when 296,000 metric tons were consumed. Since 2017, demand has grown at a rate of 1% annually. In 2021, Haiti ranked number one in wheat consumption with 296,000 metric tons. India, the United States and Pakistan followed with the second, third and fourth highest consumption rates respectively.
