Wheat production in Mauritania is expected to reach 11,180 metric tons by 2026, which is a 2.9% year-on-year growth since 1966. Mauritania was ranked 96th in 2021, behind Burundi’s 9,420 metric tons. India, Russia and the US were placed 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively in the rankings.
