Indonesian wheat consumption is set to reach 11.5 million metric tons by 2026. This is an increase of 1.4% year-on-year, up from the 2.3% growth seen since 2017. In 2021, Brazil overtook Indonesia as the ninth largest wheat consumer, with 10.5 million metric tons. India, the United States and Pakistan, respectively, ranked second, third and fourth.
