This marks an increase of 0.4% year-on-year, a slight improvement from the 0.2% decline seen since 2017. In 2021, the UAE ranked 56th globally in terms of wheat consumption, overtaken by Tajikistan with 1.02 million metric tons. India, the United States, and Pakistan held the top three spots respectively.
