Lebanon is expected to consume nearly one million metric tons of wheat by 2026, according to a recent report. India, the US, and Pakistan followed in second, third, and fourth place, respectively. Lebanon's wheat production is also set to rise over the coming years. By 2026, the country is expected to produce 133,610 metric tons, a 0.3% year-on-year growth since 1966. In 2021, Lebanon ranked 74th, with Slovenia coming in first with 131,100 metric tons. India, Russia, and the US followed in second, third, and fourth place, respectively.
