Eritrean barley production is set to increase by 1.2% year-on-year, reaching 72,740 metric tons by 2026. This follows an average 0.8% growth since 1998. In 2021, Eritrea came in 66th place in global barley production, with 67,670 metric tons. Libya came ahead of Eritrea at 65th place, while France, Germany and Canada were ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
