Kyrgyz barley production is set to reach 565,000 metric tons by 2026, a 2.4% year-on-year growth on average. This is an increase since 1997, when the country saw an average of 3.4% year-on-year growth in supply. In 2021, Kyrgyzstan was the 41st largest producer of barley, with 490,000 metric tons. Estonia overtook the country in this ranking, coming in at number 40 with 490,710 metric tons. France, Germany and Canada came in second, third and fourth, respectively.
